Phosphorus\u00a0(P) is a major and essential macronutrient for\u00a0food production\u00a0and it plays a key role in different growth processes occurring in plants, such as root production,\u00a0flowering, seed formation,\u00a0photosynthesis, and maturation. The unavailability of soil P to plants due to binding to\u00a0soil mineral particles and elements (e.g., calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), aluminum (Al), iron (Fe)) present in the soil causes severe crop yield losses. In this regard, beneficial microbes such as phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB), usually found in the\u00a0rhizosphere\u00a0of most plants, are attracting particular attention because of their reported advantages for alkaline\u00a0calcareous soils.<\/p>\n

Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria may also improve P availability and\u00a0crop growth\u00a0by promoting biological\u00a0nitrogen fixation, through releasing\u00a0growth promoters\u00a0such as\u00a0indoleacetic acid, gibberellins, and\u00a0cytokinins. Additionally, PSB inoculation has been found to improve the yield and P nutrition of crops such as rice , maize , and other cereals.<\/p>\n

Method of Application :\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before application (3 to 4hrs), dissolve in sufficient water.<\/li>\n
Dose \u2013 250g\/acre is sufficient which can be applied through irrigation, drenching, sprinklers or any other suitable method.<\/li>\n
To get Good results apply the Kalium after flowering to boost the yield level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
